i was recommended by a website online to pay for visa advice before applying for my visa abroad to Australia from London (im a British citizen....) Im 29 so getting a years working holiday visa wont be a problem but i want to stay a bit longer. Has anyone paid for such advice ? can you guys recommend anyone ?Im going to OZ in the new year i was recommended to pay for Advice before going to the visa Bureau ?
There is no need to pay for visa advice if you just follow the procedures of the Australian government websites concerning working holiday visa procedures. Forget about stupid commercial websites being promoted here.
If you plan to go to Australia in the next year [allegedly being 30 then] you cannot apply for a second Working Holiday Visa even if you have done three months [88 days] of specified work since you would not meet the age prerequisites any longer.

Whatever you do, don't pay for any advice! You simply don't need to do so, and stay away from sites such as workpermit which are fronts for fee charging companies.
Get your Working Holiday visa from the official government site on which you'll pay 拢115 and which gives you 100% accurate and up to date information on how the visa works and exactly what's needed to qualify you for a second WHV if you want to stay a bit longer.

Second WHV eligibility:

As you're 29 now, be aware that you must apply for your second WHV before you turn 31, so you won't be able to put off coming on your first one for much longer.
If you for some reason don't end up qualifying for a second WHV, it will be very difficult indeed to stay any longer than the 12 months of your first WHV if you wish to work. You will only be able to do so if you can find an employer to sponsor you for a Temporary Business (Long Stay) - Standard Business Sponsorship (Subclass 457) visa and that won't be easy to do. You must have qualifications and experience in an eligible occupation and the employer must be eligible and willing to go to the considerable expense and jump through the many hoops required to be a sponsor.
VisaFirst and other similar companies charge for information and guidance that you can get for nothing at any of the many backpacker sites such as http://www.bugaustralia.com/essentials/
you can not pay to stay longer, if you do 3 months seasonal work on your 1st working holiday visa you can apply for a second
do not use the visa bureau, get your visa from the australian website
you must apply for the 2nd visa before you turn 31 as you will no longer be eligible
OOh Ohh! I have your answer. I went to visafirst.com and it was so easy! I got a 12-month working holiday visa, and you just pay for the visa (I think it was 3 hundred and some canadian dollars.. Not sure how that translates into pounds) Also they organize everything else for you like a bank account, a tax number, a mobile phone number, and a bunch of other stuff you wouldnt even think about getting for yourself! And if you want to stay for a little longer, you have the option to apply for a 2nd year visa as long as you work a couple of months in Agriculture during your first year in Australia. as far as advice, you can ask the Visa First staff anything you like via email or phone, they are there to answer your questions anytime from the time you apply for the visa right through your whole preparation for the trip, and your entire stay in the country.
