Advice for six flags great adventure in new jersey?

I am going to six flags great adventure in a couple of days and it will be my first time there cuz we live in Connecticut. I am going with my friend and her parents. Anything we should do or go on.Advice for six flags great adventure in new jersey?
Try and go on a weekday if you can. Less lines.

Never expect Kingda Ka to be open.

Don't bother with the souvenir refill cups of soda, they charge you for storing them every time you go on a ride.

Don't expect Dark Knight to be thrilling. Everyone hates it but the ride has grown on me as they have improved the indoor theming.

Ride the back car of El Toro. Best way to experience the ride.

Save Scream Machine to the end or when lines seem at their worst for all the rides. There will still be no wait for it.

Superman is uncomfortable if you have stuff in your pockets. Also it cracked my last cell phone.

You can rent cabanas for $25 for the day. They have a safe, comfy sitting, and TV. They are good for a mid-day break.

Fireworks are on Saturdays. Saturdays have crowds from Hell itself however so it makes the fireworks less worth it.

When I say crowds from Hell I mean masses of the rudest people imaginable. I saw security round up 20 line cutters during my wait for Nitro last Saturday.Advice for six flags great adventure in new jersey?
I live like 1/2 hr away so i go all the time!!! Since it's your first time going, i would definately get there earlier to avoid the lines at themost popular rides (el toro, bizarro, nitro, batman). i've never been on king da ka persoanlly although it does look intimidating, but i've been on everything else. my personal favorite is nitro. But one tip- dont go on dark knight unless there is like a 2 minute wait. it is a joke and a waste of your time so dont wait if theres a line at all.

soo basically the major roller coasters are:

Kingda Ka

El Toro

Batman

Superman

Nitro

Bizarro

Rolling thunder

great american scream machine ( my friends say this hurts your neck and ears really badly so take caution)

and those are the major ones but theres a lot of other smaller oness

ex-skull mountain, runaway train, log flume

Im going tomorrow!! Have fun hope i helped =]
i just went to six flags great adventure a week ago..nd it was fun..umm..wow..ur driving from conneticut..i hope yu know thats a 12 hr ride to new jersey..i know cuz i drove frm jersey to conneticut 2 weeks ago..

anyway i would advise you guys to get a flash pass because you can go to the front of the line instead of waiting on the long lines...

its pretty fun..i went on all the major rides, bizarro, el torro, batman...etc... except nitro and kindaka..[closed]...

oh and go early n d morning to avoid long ticketing lines..have fun!!!
Kingda Ka is intimidating as hell it literally reaches the clouds, but El Toro and Rolling Thunder are pretty fun
