Expert advice needed. How do I keep my new clothes looking new?

They cost too much money to have them looking old after only 1 or 2 washes.Expert advice needed. How do I keep my new clothes looking new?
Dry cleaning is the BEST way. Or you can try the new 'dry cleaning' tools they have at supermarkets now.

Or you can wash them in baby shampoo (better than woolite, no bleach, very gentle) and HANG DRY.

Anything you can handwash is going to look best if you are not drycleaning.Expert advice needed. How do I keep my new clothes looking new?
Use a gentle detergent. Hand washing in cold water works, but I only do this for delicates.

A fast way to ';hand wash'; regular clothes is to put cold water in the washer, add you detergent, let is rotate for a minute.

Add your clothes, let rotate for about 4 minutes. Turn off the machine.

Soak for about an hour, by pass the wash cycle and go to spin.

Add rinse water (softener or whatever) let clothes soak again. You can rotate clothes in washer for a few minutes, bypass remaining wash cycle again and go to spin.

Best advice of all: don't use the dryer. It absolutely ruins clothing. Dry heat is very hard on fiber (all that lint in the lint filter is your clothes slowly breaking down)..

Hang clothes on hangers and put in your shower stall, curtain rod, or clothes line if you have space.

Been doing this for last 2 years, and my clothes look great.

Dry clean or use a gentle laundry soap like Ivory Snow or Woolite. For darks I love Cheer Dark colors
