Open an ebay store... low overhead and vast customer base. Even if you do physical retail too use ebay as well.. all it does is increase sales at very low cost.

I'm a catholic and at my church there is a book barrow that usually sells the typical artifacts, rosaries, prayer books and pendants. Recently, they've also introduced other items like WWJD key chains, change holders in the shape of fish, and even more colorful and attractive ';religious stuff'; that youths and young adults would totally go for; it's serve personal meaning but still looks cool and trendy. My fave being those holy spirit pins and the varnished wristlets with pictures of the pope and other religious icons. Once you are in touch with the religious society (starting with your own) you will find that you'll get support. If all else fails, open a book barrow of your own at your church. Be careful though, not all religions acknowledge the Virgin Mary. Do your research and wear what you sell. You'll be fine. Another great avenue might be to catalog. Avon often features ';extras'; that they don't themselves make and i know of many people that would favour the exclusivity paired with ordering from a catalog. On a broader scale, ';the Last Supper'; is a winner, every god fearing catholic has one, or a ';Divine Mercy';. Good luck!
