Purchasing The Sims 3 and a new PC, Need advice?

I need to know what the best computer on the market is for under $1700 that will play The Sims 3 the best if anyone has any suggestions please let me know i was considering an HP Touchsmart PC or Dell PC with quad-core tecnology.Purchasing The Sims 3 and a new PC, Need advice?
you wouldn't want a TouchSmart computer for playing the Sims 3 your gonna wanna have a mouse for that. I mean thats what I would think.

My Dell dual-core PC can run it so a quad-core will be excellent.
i have a sony vaio ns series


its 799.99 and it runs sims 3
