Anyone have any advice on starting at a new school?

Well, I've gone to the same boarding school in England since Year Seven, but I had to leave there, and now I'm going to be a sophmore at a Catholic school in the US where all the girls have known each other for ages. I'm really scared that I won't be able to make any friends, and I'll be alone. My mum just told me to ignore anyone who is mean to me, but that's really not that much help. Does anyone have any advice for me?Anyone have any advice on starting at a new school?
You should do something to get everyone's attention. Make people notice you. You can talk to everyone, trip down the stairs in front of a large crowd, get pregnant, streak, or get in a relationship with a teacher. i know it can be hard but try to be outgoing, usually if u r shy dont talk to anyone, theyll think ur stuck up and ignore u, so just try and talk to some ppl.
Your going to be fine. I go to a Catholic school right now and i transfered in 5 years ago. And I was fine. One girl actually gave me a hug when I started there. Just be your self and you'll make loads of friend trust me
Oh, dont worry. You'll fit in. People in Catholic schools tend to like getting new people. Trust me, I went to a catholic school for 13 years, and we always looked forward to meeting new people.
don't change 2 fit in, be true to yourself and be nice, individuals respond to genuine kindness. Friends and acceptance will come. try to ignore snide remarks and insults.

i went to catholic school and it was great but if ur going to a high school called IHA then u better be prepared for the worst
Just be yourself. Dont TRY to fit in. Be nice to everyone or ignore the losers who bother you.
